For over 30 years I have been designing, producing, directing or staging live events and integrated media for some of the world’s best-known brands, including, Instagram, Facebook, Volkswagen, Samsung, Hyundai , Intel , Lexus , Michael Jackson and Microsoft , managing schedules and budgets ranging from $1K to over $5 million dollars; most notably repeating 6 years as Executive Producer for Facebook's GMS 1 World Summit and the premiere gold-award-winning virtual Un-Summit event with Mark Zuckerberg, serving as Producer for Microsoft's Windows95 Launch Event/Expo and Broadcast with Bill Gates and Jay Leno, the opening 3D animation segment for Michael Jackson's World HIStory Tour , the introduction of Volkswagen, Hyundai, Lexus and BMW automobiles, and more than a dozen national and international keynote events in support of former Intel CEO and Chairman, Craig Barrett.
As a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, I have an uncanny ability to switch between the left and right sides of my brain. Regardless of the project or constituency, my creative and analytical thinking, understanding of people, resources and technology, along with my tenacious approach to production details and aesthetics help ensure the creative message, environmental and media design, production schedule and project budget remain intact.
In 1996, I partnered with my wife, Michelle, to create Kids-Did-It! Properties, a California art licensing and design studio that publishes artwork from our Kids-Did-It! Designs® kids' art collection, inspiring creativity through artwork created by Michelle’s young art students, ages 3 to 14. In addition to learning the fundamentals of art and design, each young student represented in the
collection also earns royalties for the licensed reproduction of their artwork. To date, Kids-Did-It! art Licensees have garnered nearly $5.6 million in retail sales.
As co-authors/designers, our most recent publishing project, “The Kids-Did-It! Cookie Bookie: A (fun) Cookie-Baking Cookbook for Kids, Illustrated by Kids!” is now available at retail and Amazon.com. The iPad edition is available through Apple’s iBookstore.
I have a deep understanding of Live Event Staging, Scenic, Lighting and Sound Design, Photography, Graphic Design, Video and Motion Graphic production, Web, Interface Design, Business Administration, Media Training and all-things-Mac for small business and media production.
My hands-on capabilities depend on the project at hand and encompass Live Event, Motion Media, Audio, Video, Print, Web and ePub, and include:
